Functional Downgrade from Buds+

went from buds+ to buds2, the sound was improved and noise cancellation is a nice added feature but functionally there were issues with fit, battery and connectivity. the buds2 would not remain in my ear with any of the attachments, the fell out often just during normal daily activity let alone while exercising. the battery on buds2 did not last throughout my workday (even with active noise cancellation off) while buds+ last through the day and then some. the buds2 would often disconnect and reconnected to my windows pc while actively working. the touch controls often stopped working for pc. and the connection would drop from a much shorter distance while wearing the buds2 when compared to buds+.

Falls out in minutes if you're lucky

the buds have terrible retention and slide out of the ear in under a minute if you're standing. they stay in for up to 5 if you are just sitting down and not turning your head. the only point of retention on them is the rubber stopper that goes into the ear canal. my girlfriend has tiny ears and ear canals and when she initially put them in, it seemed like they worked perfectly for her, but every subsequent use is the same result as when i was trying to use them, falling out in minutes. the regular galaxy buds are infinitely better and have a little rubber fin that helps keep the buds comfortably in your ears securely for hours, so they should re-use the design features of those with whatever upgraded technology for the new iteration of buds.

don't get me wrong, the sound quality is fine, but no matter what i do, i cannot keep these galaxy buds2 in my ears! they drop out so easily, even if i'm just sitting at my desk on a call. forget about even trying to wear them to run, or even walk around my house! when either bud falls out and i try to put it back in, it disconnects from the call. the app is set to have the touch controls shut off, so i don't know why it keeps disconnecting. not good when you are in a conference call with several of your colleagues!

DO NOT BUY IF YOU WORK IN DUSTY ENVIRONMENT

i have had issues with sound quality in the right earpiece from the day i bought them. i hoped that a software update would fix it and when it didn't, i sent it in for a warranty repair. i received an email today stating that because there was dust inside (i thought these were supposed to be sealed), the warranty is null and void. they are now trying to charge me $105 to repair my buds (which currently is the same price as if i would just buy a new pair). in the same work environment, i have used my airpod pro's for years and they never had any issues. samsung phones are the best androids you can buy but do not buy the samsung buds2 if you work near any dust. they will get dirty and void any warranty per their tech support. they apparently are not sealed from dust in any way.

i was excited to get these - the noise cancellation, the look, the expectation of upgraded performance. other than the noise cancellation these headphones are worse in every way than earbuds plus or even earbuds 1. they do not stay in your ear well. touch mechanism is not great. interaction with sweat is unreal. shopping experience also sucks. i'll never buy direct from samsung again.

I love the buds series however still missing some crucial areas. They do not stay in my ear even with the larger ear tip they fall out easy. Love the color and case, but need better in ear design. Touch controls can be a problem at times. I enjoy the buds for features and sound but just need help in that area.

Works as advertised. Love the olive green, since it is a soft and subtle, not abrasive shade of green. I normally like my eaebuds either black, gray, or bright red, but I can't use colored headphones in uniform, so this green is just the right color for me to feel not basic but also not stand out. The noise canceling is good and comparable with the latest iPhone earbuds (compared with my roommate who has Apple products). The ambient noise feature is fun for my hate for silence when studying. The soft wind or wave sounds are comforting.

A gamble that paid off

I am not an earbuds kind of person. I only bought these because they were at a good price. I expected they would make my ear "inch" like everyone I have had in the past and expected they would not fit well. I was wrong on both accords. I don't know why these are not making my ears itch, but I won't complain. It took a little to get these into my ear comfortably, but I got it and Wow they ar pretty comfortable, I kind of wish they were just a tad smaller, though. The sound is very good and the noise cancellation seems to work well to the point I can't use that feature in certain situations. I saw reviews where they said the sound and quality were lacking but I couldn't disagree more. I would recommend these as long as you get them at t good price. I would guess that these probably wouldn't measure up to those bose or beats brand, but I am not about spending that kind of money for some earbuds for the namebrand.

The fit is way off!!

i ordered these and i do admit that they sound very nice, however the fit of these buds are way off. i would put them in my ears and i would feel them starting to slip after only a few minutes. i tried the company's suggestion in changing the ear tips but i continued to have problems with the fit. unfortunately, due to the poor fit, i lost one of the ear buds. where? i have no idea. so now i have one brand new earbud.

The first top tier simple earbuds

I bought these on pre order and I am proud to say these galaxy buds 2 compromise for many of the problems of the buds plus, pro, and original buds It's because of the smaller size which creates a subtle look in my ears as well as active noise cancellation for an affordable price. That doesnt even include the trade in offered. My next favorite part is the green color since it is unique and provides a clean look for the buds as well as their small size. And the battery life has been amazing. I sometimes forget to charge them for days but if I do I just stick it on the wireless charging pad and it charges quick. I don't even check the percentage of the buds on the app anymore since I know they will last. But I still have a Galaxy S8 and dont get to use the buds with the S21 to use all the full features. But anyway this is a strong buy if you want simple effective and affordable earbuds.

Got these because there was a great 50% off deal. The sounds ahhhhmazing. The bass is quality. So my only problem is the battery drains even when not in use. I misplaced one bud in my house and didn't realize it until a couple of days later. We have tried the find my earbuds feature on galaxy wearables and no sound. So now I get to work on the area I believe it was last at and go through ALL the bins I just organized... LoL So besides that little setback, these are the best ear buds I've had in a while!.

I have only been using these for two weeks. There really isn't much of a difference between Galaxy Buds 2 and the Buds Plus other than price. So if I were trying to decide between purchasing one over the other, I would purchase the Buds 2. They cost $50 less than the Buds Pro and they are noticeably lighter. Since they are lighter they feel better in your ears which translates into longer wear time and they are less likely to fall out of your ears. If I had the choice between the two when I bought my Buds Pro I would have bought the Buds 2.

I got these to replace a pair of Jaybirds, and I'm very happy! First, they are SUPER light. Second, the noise cancelling works excellently. Third, for my uses, I find their charge and the case charge to be more than adequate. I'm very happy with my purchase! I have no trouble with them falling out, though I didn't initially realize they came with different sizes of ear pieces. I was much happier with the fit of the smallest size. I use these while sitting, walking, talking, so I can't speak to use during heavy exercise. My husband can hear me very clearly on the phone, even in a vehicle with 1 bud in. I also can hear calls very clearly and am happy with the quality.

these look great and i'm loving the case compared to buds plus. but they just keep sliding out after a little bit. even with the right ear bud size. samsung needs to add a something keep it from slipping out of your ear. the buds plus had wing that worked great! i tried with different size bud. i went for a walk after 20 min they kept sliding out. imagine a real workout. it's a let down. they sound great if i would just stay in.

Great sound but very bad design

the earbuds are so slippery and smooth it is almost impossible to handle. they do not fit in the ear or stay in if you are moving. i have read the samsung how to fit guide but they are still a really bad fit. i have the buds + and they stay in the ear fine. this is an awful design filled with flaws that make these buds vietually unusable.

Very Disappointed

these buds2 sound great, the voice quality during call is also very good, and the software for managing the buds2 is good. however what good are any of these things if they won't stay in in your ear. the tips provided don't work for me, i'd rather have the wingtips. the wingtip is such a simple (i would imagine in expensive) solution to help keep the buds from falling out of the ear. it's sad something as simple as wingtips can make an otherwise really good product useless, especially when you consider the price of the buds2. i'll use these until i either lose one or one becomes damaged from falling out of my ear. without the wingtips, these are a major step backwards. i'm very disappointed!

Bad design

no matter what i do these will not stay in my ears. i rarely had this issue with the buds+, and i miss the feature of ambient noise with just one headphone. i dont understand why that feature was removed. having one headphone in still dulls your hearing and i liked the ambient noise while in my office.

Comfortable and secure. Sounds as always great

i traded my pros in for these. the pros were alitle to big for my liking. we have a 5 month old baby who sleeps in the room with us so confortable headphones were important for bed use. please read the how to wear guide. its immedialty apparant that you are not wearing them properly if they keep falling out. these fit way better than the pros and give me close to the same confidence that they wont fall out as the galaxy buds + (which i still believe is the superior design) but who am i but a guy who has owned every single pair of wireless buds samsung put out. i even worked for the company for half a decade so i might be biased. if it helps you sleep at night i have an iphone now and still refuse to use those ugly and uncomfortable over price air pods or air pods "pro" lol

I'm MADDDDDDD!!!!

i was extra excited to get them and once i did, the first thing i noticed is that they do not stay in my ears. i have tried all the different sizes that the buds come with to make sure i wasn't tripping. and guess what? i wasn't tripping. they are garbage. i'm mad because i paid over $150 for them but have not used them at all. they're just sitting and collecting dust. i missed my deadline to return and exchange for a different product. i feel like i threw money down the drain. i even thought about selling them but i would not recommend these buds to my worst enemy so i guess they will just sit until i gather up enough will power to finally toss them in the trash and accept the fact that i just lost all this money that i spent on them. smh. somebody give me a virtual hug

Not worth the headaches

my galaxy buds+ battery was slowly dying so i decided to try the pro's, had them for 5 days and returned them because they fell out even just while sitting still. opted to try the buds 2 and the same thing, but added you cannot control music, with the exception of pausing. the only difference, i will not wait a week. they are going back today. such a disappointment and waste of my time.
