Not good for skinny people

Straight off the bat, this watch strap is horrible for skinny people. It lacks slots that the normal Galaxy Watch strap has more of so you can't tighten it. It will be loose and the Watch will fall off.
After I noticed this, I stopped using this strap/band.

This band was included for buying the Samsung watch. The band appeared to be well made but since I had so many problems with the watch, I never used the band.
I have owned every Samsung smartwatch since their first entry and upgraded to the latest model with every announcement because each new model included substantial improvements.
So I preordered the Galaxy Watch right after it was announced. The Galaxy Watch was shipped days in advance of the band, but since I was eager to activate the new watch I decided to upgrade my S3 Classic without waiting for the new band.
However my carrier could not get the new watch e-sim to work on my new Samsung Note 9. After several weeks of escalations with my carrier and Samsung, it was clear that the new Galaxy Watch did not support the the same features found on my Gear S3 Classic. After many more weeks I finally got a return authorization for the Galaxy Watch. The authorization required returning the band as well which was irksome because it would have been a nice change for the stainless steel metal band on my S3. It would have also been some compensation for having to escalate my concerns to Samsung executive levels for resolution.
So as a result I have gone from being a Samsung supporter with numerous Samsung products including TVs, appliances. phones and accessories in my home plus purchasing Samsung phones and products for family and friends as gifts without comparing competitive products Now I will consider Samsung as a last resort for my future product purchases.

I love the quality of the strap, but the strap is too big for my wrist. The strap that comes with my Galaxy Watch has 11 slots (I would like 12 to 13 slots), while this one only has 9 which means it doesn't fit well on a skinny person's arm.

I wanted to leave a review because I believe that the 1 star review may slant people erroneously. the band absolutely is leather. The leather is over a soft rubber material that is comfortable and protects the leather outer. The reason why it is initially kind of rigid is due to the leather not being broken in completely when it is new. The band itself is the same as in the photos the only difference being the buckle. The photo shows a dark, gunmetal type color with a symbol on it when the buckle is actually lighter and a little thicker (the picture from the 1 star review is accurate). Initially I thought that this was a bit of a bummer but the more I look at it, the more that I like it. It matches the silver on the galaxy watch perfectly. All in all this is a very nice band.

I love this band. I got it for free with preordered Galaxy Watch. It is very comfortable and well made. Inside is not leather and personally I like it. I like it because you can easily clean it. Sweet won't stay there like on leather. Also it makes band very flexible. It looks good and feels very comfortable. I like it more compare to original given band.
I wanted to add image, but they are too large :(( fix it please. I took them with my Note 8 and cannot send it.

Band is Uncomfortable and Not as Advertised

When you see "Leather Band" in the description you should expect a leather watch band, not something made of a very ridged plastic and only has the "Leather" look on one side. Plus, when you see a black buckle advertised you would expect the same, not a brushed silver buckle. There were so many discrepancies with the band I thought Samsung had sent me the wrong item, but I confirmed the part number on the box. With the misrepresentations aside, this band is uncomfortable to wear, too small for most wrist sizes and not something that should be associated with the Galaxy Watch.
