Stpped working after less then a year

after couple of months that i was using my tab s 7+ regularly, i suddnly discovers a black stripe that started to apear. i contacted samsung support, and al they had to say is that it is not covered by the insurance and i can buy a new pen.

Nibs do not last

i need nibs! i was desperate months ago and just broke down and bought another pen, now i have two pens in need of new nibs. if you use a paper feel screen cover these nibs just get chewed up quickly. as a med student, vigorously taking notes these nibs have to be in good working order. i bought the effing tablet specifically for note taking. :(
