Best cover for this tablet

I've had this cover for my Samsung Tab A 8.0" for nearly 3 years and it has never snapped off or gotten flimsy from all its use, and I do use it daily. The only thing is the canvas corners are getting frayed because of age and I'm looking to replace it with the same cover; the tablet is still going strong. I highly recommend those who have problems with the snaps to make sure they have the right model for their tablet or have someone else try to snap the cover in place because you're doing something wrong.

Tablet doesn't stay on

Like many reviewers, I have to say that the cover looks pretty cool and modern, but the tablet does not stay in place. There are 2 small buttons that are supposed to hook on the tablet, but they do not work and the tablet slides around and can slip out easily. If you are using the cover as a stand to watch videos, then it works, but don't count on it otherwise. Had I not purchased this online, I would've gone to the store and returned it.

Everything about this tablet is great. Music sounds awesome videos as well. It's almost better than the phone!

Except for its weight, the companion Galaxy Tab A 8.0" Canvas Book Cover is a perfect configuration. It's too heavy.

Book cover does not attach to tablet

I see that a lot of people seem to be having better luck than I am. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or if I have a defective book cover. The two little "knobs" on the Samsung 8 in. book cover for my Samsung tablet A don't seem to be locking into the tablet. There are two little slots on the back of the tablet. The book cover's knobs seem to fit into those slots, but they won't stay for anything. No directions with the book cover except a diagram of how to fit them together. But there's nothing else that tells me how they're supposed to stay. I feel a little magnetic pull. But that's all. The tablet slides out of the book cover when I hold it upright. And there's no way it will stay in the cover when I position it to stand. It's a nice looking cover, sleek, quality design. But it doesn't work!

The only thing I'm concerned about is the magnet. It warms me not to put credit cards near the clasp so I can't put it in my glove box with my wallet? In not sure where the line is so I would rather be too careful than have an accident.
